The NCEES Engineering Award for Connecting Professional Practice and Education was established to promote understanding of the value of licensure and to encourage collaboration between the engineering profession and education.

All EAC/ABET-accredited engineering programs are invited to submit projects that demonstrate a meaningful partnership between professional practice and education. Projects must be in progress or completed by December 31, 2009.

Awards
Six cash awards
  One grand prize of $25,000
  Five awards of $7,500
Use of the funds awarded will be at the discretion of the winning engineering departments/colleges.

The grand prize winner will be recognized at the NCEES Annual Meeting in August 2010. All award-winning submissions will be exhibited at the event and featured on the NCEES Web site and in NCEES publications and other related professional publications.
