We opened 476 net new stores in 2006 for a total of 5461 in 47 states and Puerto Rico. Our drugstores serve 4.7 million customers daily and fill over 500 million prescriptions annually.
The Facilities Planning Design and Engineering (FPDE) division within Walgreen Co. provides Architectural and Engineering oversight for all new stores and remodels. Walgreen Co. is currently certified as an AIA Continuing Education Provider.

| Assessment Method: |
Instructors will give a short quiz at the end of the activity. A score of 70%, or equivalent demonstrated proficiency, will be required to be awarded the PDH. Students will be surveyed after each class to ensure continuous quality of instructor and material. The program administrator will review test scores, activity surveys and quarterly summary reports to identify opportunities for improvements to individual activities and the program. Benchmarking of the Walgreen Co. continuing education program against similar PDH market offerings will be conducted annually. |
