CPC Requirements by Jurisdiction: Nebraska Engineering


CPC Requirements:   Mandatory
Number of PDH required per period:   30
Renewal Term:   biennial
Carryover from one renewal period to the next:   up to 15
Comity:   The continuing education requirements for Nebraska will be satisfied when a licensee is certified to be licensed in, and as having met the mandatory continuing education requirements of, an NCEES jurisdiction for the period of time in question.
Record keeping and submission requirements:   The maintenance of records to be used to support credits claimed is the responsibility of the licensee. Records required include, but are not limited to: (1) A log showing the type of activity claimed, sponsoring organization, location, duration, instructor's or speaker's name, and unit credits earned; (2) Attendance verification records in the form of completion certificates or other documents supporting evidence of attendance; or (3) Records as maintained by a repository. These records must be maintained for a period of three years and copies may be requested by the board for audit verification purposes.
Provider approval required by state board:   No pre-approval of offerings will be issued.
